Pipe relining cost guide
See what usually changes the repair scope, the quote, and the final pipe relining cost in Sydney.
Pipe relining restores a damaged pipe from the inside after the line has been inspected, cleaned, and prepared. It is often a strong option when the pipe is cracked, root-affected, or worn, but you want to avoid digging through concrete, gardens, driveways, or internal floors.
P24 keeps pipe relining at the centre of the job, then supports that work with CCTV drain inspections, blocked drain work, and drain cleaning when the line needs diagnosis or preparation first.

CCTV
Led Repair Planning
These projects show how P24 handles damaged lines under homes, hospitals, driveways, and other hard-to-access areas across Sydney.

Working with Proximity Plumbing, P24 relined 40 metres of 150mm stormwater pipe running beneath several Vaucluse properties.
The stormwater pipe system had multiple breaks and cracks along its 40-metre length, running beneath several houses. Traditional excavation would have required extensive property disruption across multiple homeowners.
Using trenchless pipe relining technology, we formed a new internal pipe wall within the existing structure. The relining system sealed the defects and restored the stormwater line without digging up gardens or driveways.
The job still has to suit trenchless repair, but when it does, the biggest difference is usually how much surface disruption the property avoids.
Reline the pipe
Pipe relining is often the stronger option when CCTV shows the line can still be restored from within and the site would be expensive or disruptive to open.
Dig up and replace
Not every damaged line can be relined. Some sections are too collapsed, too inaccessible, or too distorted, which is why the decision has to follow the footage.
These case studies show how the same trenchless method is planned differently depending on whether the job sits in a home, a shared building, or an active facility.

P24 relined ageing sewer pipes at a Surry Hills terrace without cutting through the property's heritage finishes, garden, or internal areas.

P24 repaired multiple stack lines and junctions in a Marrickville unit block with damaged 100mm clay sewer pipes.

P24 relined damaged drainage at Mount Druitt TAFE, staging the work around classes, staff movement, and campus access.
The process starts with the condition of the line, not guesswork. P24 inspects first, explains the scope, then installs and checks the finished liner.
Use CCTV to confirm the fault, the pipe condition, and whether trenchless repair is suitable.
Explain the preparation, access, and written scope before any relining work starts.
Install the liner, cure it in place, and check the finished line on camera before handover.
Start with the problem you can see now. We can then work out whether the line needs clearing, camera inspection, relining, or another repair.
For cracked, root-damaged, or worn pipes that may be repairable without opening the full pipe run.
Start here when you need to know what the line is actually doing before choosing cleaning, relining, or another repair method.
Start here when flow needs restoring and you want to know whether the blockage is only buildup or a sign of pipe damage.
Start here when grease, scale, roots, or heavy build-up need clearing before CCTV or relining work can move ahead.

These are the main questions Sydney property owners ask when they are comparing pipe relining with cleaning, CCTV, or full replacement.
Pipe relining is a trenchless repair method for damaged pipes. After a CCTV inspection and cleaning stage, a liner is installed inside the existing pipe and cured in place, which restores the line from within without full excavation.
Pipe relining costs depend on pipe length, diameter, access, cleaning requirements, and the condition found on CCTV. We inspect the line first, explain the scope clearly, and then provide a written quote for the repair work discussed.
The CCTV inspection is what confirms that. It shows the pipe material, diameter, access points, bends, and level of damage so we can explain whether relining is the right repair path or whether another method suits better.
